This seemed to be the pinnacle of Hassan'south loyalty. After that tragedy, Amir kept testing Hassan. Shortly after, he and Hassan went to their hill. He asked Amir if he was happy and walked away. Amir wanted Hassan to lash out at him. Hassan ended up dying because of his loyalty to Amir and his family. He was living in Amir's old dwelling house when the Taliban came and accused him of stealing it. He was then murdered because he wouldn't leave.
